Unleash your potential and build on your strengths in our 18-Month Controlling Trainee Program Talents@DB Schenker starting October 2023. During the Program you’ll gain insights into Global Controlling, exploring Business Units like Air and Ocean, along with Functional Units such as Investment and Planning & Reporting, as well as diving into Accounting and Finance. We tailor your program based on your unique strengths, interests, and goals, ensuring a personalized learning experience. Starting off in Essen, Germany, you will then have the opportunity to benefit from deployment locations worldwide all whilst building a strong international network across DB Schenker. What awaits you:
  • You'll dive into dynamic projects that focus on optimizing global planning and reporting solutions. Furthermore, you’ll play a vital role in the success of the global operational and functional Controlling teams, where you will support all processes like planning, analysis, tracking and documentation
  • Discover the world of logistics and broaden your expertise on controlling processes across our global Air, Ocean, Land, and Contract Logistics business units
  • Working closely with our management and departments worldwide, you'll contribute to the realization of local, operative as well as strategic controlling topics
  • Your ideas and efforts will make a tangible impact to bring our Controlling to a new level
  • This program is not just about gaining experience; it's about your growth. Develop your skills and unleash your potential by leading and implementing your own projects
The skillset you bring:
  • You are in the final stages of your bachelor's or master's degree specializing on Controlling, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics or a related field with a focus on Controlling, Accounting and/or Logistics
  • Your interest in Logistics, coupled with any work experience, especially in Controlling, will make you a perfect fit for our program
  • Your strong analytical skills enable you to identify and solve challenges quickly
  • Possessing strong intercultural competence, a global mindset and your willingness to travel showcases your dedication to driving global impact and fostering strong relationships
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken – German skills are not a requirement but nice to have
